ISO info/resources and equipment (post-injury, illness, etc)

It occurred to me that we might want an easy-to-find thread where we can ask where to hire, borrow or buy aids, equipment etc for ourselves, our partners or our parents as the need arises.

Or we could review an item - for example, a supposedly ergonomically shaped easy-grip veggie peeler that was useless to manipulate (the blade wouldn't swivel, and the handle was so big it lost the frail user's power over the small blade, making her push the potato away from her hand). "Good for arthritis sufferers!"??? We won't buy that again!

Same kitchen also has wide stainless steel salt shakers that has allowed salt crystals into the twists of the lid (where they've corroded the cheap alloy). Can't remove the lid for cleaning or refilling.
