The Speaker of the House of Commons, Anthony Rota — who had compared Zelenskyy to Winston Churchill — recognized a “veteran from the Second World War who fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today even at his age of 98.”
It is unclear whether Zelenskyy knew that Hunka fought with the unit. In 2021, the Ukrainian president joined the governments of Israel and Germany in denouncing a march honoring SS Galichina in Kyiv.
It’s very possible that zelensky honestly knew nothing about this particular individual prior to this, just as everyone of us here. I’m just amazed that some people would derive such glee in their quest for a “gotcha” moment….it’s such a motivating experience for them that they can not contain their excitement… to the point where they would come out of retirement just to post their thoughts…

It’s obvious they are not, but you are. It helps your argument that Putin had just cause to do what he did because of the nazis in Ukraine.
Kremlin propaganda 101 - whenever possible - connect Zelenskyy with Nazis- Repeat and amplify. While at the same time - never mention the annihilation of a sovereign country by Mr. Putin.
I'm beginning to think Paul is starting to agree with vlad that this is the biggest Nazi scourge the planet has seen since WWII. Vlad even eliminated his own top nazis recently in a plane crash.
BTW - paul - please update us to how the denazification process is going? How many have been eliminated and who is their current leader. And the biggest question - how many are left and where's their biggest concentration?
The Nazi issue is still a big talking point in VladVille - but I know you don't read the Kremlin news very much. Though the article you shared is on the top 5 five in Vlad Media - so maybe you do read it.

Vlad media is happy about missiles hitting Odessa. I've said from the start - Vlad won't be satisfied with his land grab until he secures the Southern shore until Odessa.
Russian conscripts will be sacrificed until Vlad is happy.

This is an interesting and revealing quote. Does Paul understand what happened in Ukraine in the 20s and 30s? Does he have any understanding of why many Ukrainians were happy to have allies against the USSR, even if that ally was Nazi Germany?
Does Paul remember, or did he even know, that the USSR and Nazi Germany were themselves allies at first?
And what of Paul's apparent comfort with claiming the USSR as allies -- is he unaware of the genocidal depths of the Soviet regime? In sheer body count, Stalin beats Hitler. In terms of murderous depravity, I don't know how one even goes about trying to compare or why one would -- these were monstrous regimes, led by monsters. The Soviet Union had emerged triumphant from the battle of Stalingrad, and was a valiant, indeed necessary, ally for the USA in the war against Hitler."

If the enemy of my enemy is a strong ally, then, yes, the US and the USSR were strong allies. But that's not really the case. The U.S. and Britain were strong allies. The relationship between the West and the USSR always was accompanied at all times by mutual suspicion.
WW II made for strange bedfellows. Naval intelligence working with the mob in NYC to help with harbor security. Polish representatives having to accept the Katyn Wood massacre in order to keep the focus on fighting the Nazis. The list goes on.
Imagine a world where, in 1939, the USSR told Germany to NOT invade Poland and that, if they did, it would mean war.
