Since neither the Maplewood Fire Department nor the Maplewood Police Department help with the installation of car seats, does anyone have a suggestion where I can go to get some guidance?

The MPD helped me with car seat installation. Officer Felix Trinidad was more than happy to help and also asked to spread the word that the service was in fact available:
