Came across an old LG tablet we got +/-10 years ago from ATT (whom we left about 8 years ago).
The tablet charges via USB from my laptop, but I can't see it being connected on the laptop. When I try to add a device, my laptop still doesn't see anything new.
If possible, I would like to use it as a display device for the many photos I have on my laptop. Is there any path to this?
If you post the model number, it would be easier to get a handle on what’s possible.
The sticker on the back is worn, I think it reads LG-V41?
The imprint on the case: GPad 70 LTE (last 3 letters in superscript) and LG-V410 FCC ID ZNFV410
That model was first made in 2014. Since the laptop can't "see" the LG, Wi-Fi or BT transfers might also be a problem. Since the LG has a MicroSD card slot, that might be the easiest way to display photos.
You can pick one up for $15 with a regular SD adapter. If your laptop doesn't have a memory card slot, I have an extra memory card reader that can plug into an USB port on your laptop. Transfer your photos to the card, insert the card into your LG pad. You might even have a MicroSD in the LG already which you could reuse.
BTW, if you need an owners manual, you can download one from here:
