The Hannah Arendt thread (HA topics only)

Excellent way to learn about Arendt's publications and ideas on this podcast every Friday.  Best to pick a book, then find it in archives and follow along. Fight the coming totalitarianism. Engage others. Pass the link.

Sounds good.  Any chance of transcript(s)?

The Apple podcast player has them, so I assume others do, as well.

usually, if you watch the video on youtube.com and click on the "more" link in the description, and then scroll down, there will be a transcript link.

the transcripts are auto-generated, so they're not perfect, but I've found them to be pretty good, except they're not formatted to distinguish between individual speakers that might appear in the video. They're useful for finding a phrase if you want to pull out a quote, but not so much if you want to read instead of watch.

Thanks, dave and drummerboy, both possibilities are news to me (PC and flip phone user, and frequent audio avoider).

The most recent two episodes on the podcast are great, as they cover the essay 'Truth and Politics' in Between Past and Future. The essay was originally published in The New Yorker in 1967.
