WNBC broadcast signal?

Did anyone else lose the over-the-air broadcast signal for WNBC recently?  We normally get channel 4 very clearly, but it has disappeared, and rescanning channels isn't bringing it back. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem before we investigate our rooftop antenna.

I have FIOS so my experience likely would not help.

Admittedly, I'm a hemisphere away, and nowhere within coverage of the WNBC telecasts, but are you receiving any other channels, or is WNBC the only channel you could receive, anyway?

Our roof antenna is pulling in nbc4 normally ar 8:45 am

Curious to know what, if anything, you've discovered.

Well, I have discovered that I still don't get the broadcast signal for WNBC4 (was hoping somehow it would fix itself).  I get all of the other channels broadcast over-the-air (84 channels). Rescanning doesn't help. Other TVs in the house also don't receive WNBC4. So, on a nicer day, we'll head up to the roof and see if the antenna needs some tweaking.

Once again, I don't know the area.  Are all the TV channel transmitters located on the same tower, or are they geographically spread out?

NBC has always been a pain for me. Either I can get CBS or NBC but never both. Fox? Forget about it! I’m a giants fan, the only channel that shows regular giants games is Fox, and Fox is the only network that doesn’t have a companion streaming service like Paramount or Peacock I can buy into to watch them. So, unfortunately I can’t help because I get fewer channels than you do, but yes it sucks.

We always were able to get WNBC, along with CBS, ABC, PBS, FOX, and a myriad of other stations. Our antenna is aimed (more or less) at the World Trade Center antenna, where most of these stations transmit (CBS may be from the Empire State Building).  This worked just fine for  years, and then suddenly a week or so ago, we lost WNBC. Trying to figure out what happened to cause that. The transmitter doesn't seem to have move (based on what I can find online), other people can still get WNBC4 (thanks, Max), so I can only conclude that the problem is on my end. All TVs in the house are experiencing the loss, so it must be the signal. I am assuming that the recent high winds we have had might have shifted the antenna a bit.

That will do it although, theoretically, the other stations on the same tower should have become weaker - if not dropping out, altogether.

Have you contacted the station and asked if they've done something with the Txer that could have affected your signal?

Most everything is off the World Trade building.
