No wolves in NJ except for in zoos. We have coyotes - hard to tell from the pic, but those look a little larger than coyotes.
Could be they slipped out from someone’s yard with all the snow around
Huskies are known escape artists. I've spoken to a few Husky rescues and they are careful about adoptions explaining that they climb or dig under fences.

Got a call from my neighbor when we were out, a pair of husky-looking type dogs in my backyard, my security camera pick them up.. we're off of Burnett Ave. not too far from the park, been here over 20 years - I have never seen a pair of dogs like this wandering in the neighborhood. Has anybody else come across these two? I know huskies are comfy in the cold and snow, so maybe there were having a fun hooky day...
