Can someone please explain to me why Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are the lead United States negotiators involved in the talks with Iran in Switzerland?   Yeah, I know they've been involved before but why?  Why not our Secretary of State or one of our cadre of foreign service professionals?   I realize that Trump has named Witkoff a "special envoy" but, to my understanding, Kushner has no formal capacity other than being Trump's son-in-law and associate grifter (see his dealings with Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman).

When Rutgers painted our house (a long time ago), they came back the following year to do some touch-ups. 

I am of the opinion that we shouldn't water the grass. It goes dormant when it’s dry and recovers when it rains. That’s what grass does. If some dies off in particularly harsh summer sun, I just throw some seed down.  I don’t need to see a perfect greensward every day of the year. 

Green grass is a terrible reason to use hundreds of gallons of fresh water every summer. 

What's more attractive to voters:  

Your leaders are jerks and crooks, and you were an idiot to vote for them?

Your party/administration has comprehensively failed you, damaged US world standing, and failed to provide the better life they promised you; here's what we'll to restore the country and help you?

This is not an animal control issue. It's a police issue.
